OK God, you've made your point. Any chance you could give it a break for a bit now?
RIP Mr Perry.

I didn't read the news until I woke up this morning, a very sad start to the day. I posted a hastily-cobbled together mix on my blog as I struggled to find the words. With my rushed dip into Lee 'Scratch' Perry's back catalogue, I was reminded that there's always something new to discover and love, even with tracks that I've heard countless times before. I'm still sad, but after spending a couple of hours in Perry's company, I also feel uplifted. A genius.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. This was hastily cobbled together as well. When I have a bit of time I'll try to do a post or two with a selection of his productions.
DeleteAnother legend departs
ReplyDeleteSplendid selections, Rest easy Scratch.
ReplyDeleteMy timeline and feed is full of Scratch today- lovely but sad. 3 good track choices here.
