Model Employees

Yesterday I visited Mannakin Hall near Grantham with the King of Cool himself, Mr John Medd. Why? To quote Gob Geldof, "what reason do you need?".

Here are some of the residents, including a group apparently attempting to recreate Manet's 'Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe' (but not very successfully) There are loads more photos over on Flickr if you are so inclined.

I will be taking no further questions.

    1. And me. There have been too many horror films with mannequins that come to life. Argh...

    1. That sort of filth might be acceptable at your place but I'm not having it here.

  4. Excellent! I hope they didn't give you nightmares, though. Hope you had a fab day out together - well, of course you did!
I now have Wire's 'Mannequin' going through my mind too.

    1. Wire, of course! That would have been a much better song selection.

It was a very enjoyable day and John was an excellent host as you would expect

  6. Blimey! Connections a-go-go here with that John Du Cann track. Had utterly forgotten that single. A mate of mine used to burst out that Don't Be A Dummy line randomly in the pub to the bemused clientele. John Du Cann is actually John Cann of Atomic Rooster fame and wrote Devil's Answer and before that was in The Attack who had the earlier version of Hi Ho Silver Lining
