I'm a little surprised to find that you didn't include the rather lovely 'Melt' by Silje Nes, though less surprised that Budgie's 1978 racket 'Melt the Ice Away' failed to make the cut.
ReplyDeleteThe Jenny Lewis tune is a beauty and I believe that this is the only place I've ever heard a Steve Westfield song outside of my own house.
The reason Silje Nes isn't included is because I've never heard or her, but I will now investigate further.
ReplyDeleteI can't claim much credit for Steve Westfield either, I think this is the only track of his I have. It was on a Glitterhouse label sampler sometime in the late 1990s.
