Pun Fun 7: The Results

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner:

C with "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Djibouti"

With this victory C joins George in the ranks of two times winners, so extra congratulations are in order. C pipped Alyson by just a few points and the two of them were some way clear of the rest of the pack. The battle for the minor places was much tighter.

We are going to take a short break for the summer so you can all recharge your punning batteries and ease any word play weariness. Pun Fun 8 will appear some time in September. Until then, as is traditional, we hand over to our winners to see us out.

P.S. This will be the last post here of any sort for a week or so as I am heading off on my travels right after I press 'publish'. That is why the results are being announced a day earlier than usual. Obviously I can't reveal my mystery destination but I can assure you that when I return all pun related posts will appear on a Monday and never on a Sunday.
